Established in 1860, this 150+ year old brewery is nationally renowned for its award winning beers, with varieties to fit everyone’s tastes. Enjoy the beautiful gardens, complete with wandering peacocks. The Visitors Center houses the Museum of Brewing, Gift Shop and a beautiful old-world style Rathskellar Tap Room (open for tours only). When the railroad bypassed the small town of West Newton, the Harkin Store was forced to close with much of the unsold inventory still on the shelves, where it remains today.
